Description

It is the larval food produced by honey bees for feeding their larvae. To produce royal jelly, a colony's queen bee is taken to create a starter colony. Worker bee larvae at one day old are transferred to royal jelly cups, which are then given to the starter colonies. After 24 hours, the transfer cups are given to nurse colonies. After 48 hours in the nurse colonies, the royal jelly is harvested from the cups using a royal jelly harvesting spoon
